Giuliana Rancic joined forces with Procter & Gamble and the National Breast Cancer Foundation in an effort to fuel a nationwide early detection movement in the fight against breast cancer.
Have U Heard joined Giuliana in New York on September 20, 2012 where the first-ever ?Do It For the Girls!? Day of Action took place. I was honored to be invited to tweet along with Giuliana Rancic, P&G and some of the ladies from the Breast Cancer Foundation to #GIVEHope (the twitter hashtag) and motivate women across the country to conduct a breast self-exam and take the first steps toward implementing an early detection plan.
#GIVEHope became the No.1 trending topic on Twitter in the U.S. and eighth globally, as @GiulianaRancic rallied women to help spread the message. ? Giuliana took to twitter to personally answer as many questions as she could during the party.
Participants shared a symbol of their commitment to breast cancer early detection by changing their Facebook cover photo through a custom photo app found at facebook.com/pgmygive. For every photo created through the app, P&G is donating $1 to the NBCF, up to $25,000.
We spoke with Giuliana who said
Check out Giuliana talking about her choice to use a Gestational carrier to have her son.
