The Detroit Lions can take solace that no player has been arrested in the last week and a half.

But according to a study by U-T San Diego of NFL player arrests and citations, almost a quarter of the arrests this year belong to the Lions.

Defensive tackle Nick Fairley and running back Mikel Leshoure have been arrested twice each for various violations, and offensive lineman Johnny Culbreath was also arrested and?charged with misdemeanor marijuana possession in South Carolina. He later paid a $412 fine.

The database study features 601 web pages of player arrests since 2000, with the most recent one being Jacksonville Jaguars rookie wide receiver Justin Blackmon being arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. ?Reports say Blackmon?s breathalyzer test blew three times the legal limit for the state of Oklahoma where he was arrested.
