PRA International is based in Raleigh.
Raleigh-based contract research organization PRA International is joining WuXi Pharma Tech to form a joint venture in China. Financial terms were not disclosed, but the companies said in a statement that the joint venture would act as an independent CRO.
The new CRO will provide clinical trial services in China, as well as Hong Kong and Macau.
PRA will provide clinical research services and support the venture with its China-based staff and global technology capabilities. WuXi is based in Shanghai and provides laboratory and manufacturing services.
