I found this book a wonderful read. And I have not only read it the once. Actually, I?m not sure how many times I have read it (and I will read it again), but each time I do, I discover more nuggets of wisdom and inspiration. In my opinion this book is even better than The Power of Now, which had a very positive effect on my life.
A New Earth takes you even deeper down the rabbit hole, reaching out to you on many levels, taking you closer to a state of oneness ? if you allow it to. This book is written in a way that will perhaps appeal to more people.
A New Earth is written with the purpose of helping you grasp how to live in the moment, the NOW, and be at one with all beings. Tolle provides the spiritual background for anyone to make their own life ? and therefore the world ? better and more meaningful. Modern ideas of ego and entitlement, self and society are shattered. Tolle exposes the fears that hang over us all and shows how each of us can find happiness and health through a series of simple, life-affirming steps:
>> understanding the illusory self
>> going beyond ego
>> the secret of happiness
>> learning how to stop carrying the past
>> discovering the joy of being
>> the pain body
People have always been searching, for enlightenment, truth etc, and during what must be one of the most precipitous times known to man, Eckhart Tolle brings inspiration and hope to the reader not by providing answers, but by encouraging people to look within themselves and discovering their own truth. This is a book to study, not just to merely read! This is no ordinary self-help book but a beautifully written master piece. A stunning journey of self-enlightenment, stripping away the illusions we live by, providing a new basis for personal spirituality and self-improvement.
